Mark founded Mark Diamond's Jewelers with his wife, Ellen, after moving to New Mexico from Texas. With his engineering and artistic background, the blending of the two has enabled Mark to tackle many of the technical aspects of the jewelry industry. From repairing watches and jewelry to sketching award-winning custom designs, Mark for many years was the hub of the business. Mark is active in the community and supports the Make-A-Wish foundation through the Rio Grande Corvette Club car shows.

Michelle has followed tradition, being a 3rd generation jeweler in her family. She gained great knowledge and experience as she grew up around the store. Michelle now helps run the store alongside her mother, Ellen Diamond, and has a strong influence in the buying. Michelle also is an award winning designer for the State of New Mexico.

Ellen Diamond came from an entire family of jewelers. Her mother was the baby of ten children and eight of those children became jewelers throughout the state of Texas. Ellen moved to Albuquerque with her husband, Mark Diamond, (Yes... his name really IS Diamond) after her father died.

Ellen and Mark started Mark Diamond's Jewelers 30 years ago. Today, they're proud to have their daughter, Michelle, as part of their team.

Victor has been with Mark Diamond's Jewelers since 1987. Victor began his jewelry apprenticeship in 1970 and has worked at a jewelers bench since then. He specializes in repairs and pave settings. Victor also enjoys making custom jewelry. Additionally, Victor has been machine engraving since 1967 and is also one of a few still practicing hand engraving.

For almost twenty years, Mark was a manager of a major department stores fine jewelry department. Mark brings to Mark Diamonds Jewelers his vast knowledge of customer service, product knowledge, and managerial expertise.

Joe has worked in the jewelry industry for the past five years in both the retail and wholesale aspects of the business. Joe brings to Mark Diamond's Jewelers great knowledge in working with clients and repairs. Joe has begun his coursework with G.I A. (Gemological Institute of America). In his free time he loves to play basketball and spend time with his family.

Lydia Tipton has been working in the fine jewelry industry in Albuquerque for the past 15 years. She has vast product knowledge and excellent customer service skills. Her main emphasis is assisting clients to make the choice that will instill love, passion, and memories forever. Lydia has successfully completed her A.J.P. from GIA. She has stated that she is extremely pleased to be the newest member of the best family owned jewelers in Albuquerque.
